KATELYN TINNEY
Director Of Operations
Katelyn serves as GCO’s Director of Operations. She oversees the daily operations of the organization including accounting and IT.
Prior to coming to GCO, Katelyn interned at The Heritage Foundation in The Center for Health Policy Studies. After her internship, she became the research assistant at The Heritage Foundation in the Center for Health Policy. During her time at Heritage, she conducted research on Medicare, Medicaid, the Affordable Care Act, and other healthcare policy issues. Her work has appeared on the Daily Signal.
She received her B.A. in political science from Pensacola Christian College. The focus of her undergraduate research included: education, welfare, and taxes. While in college, she led a group weekly in community outreach.
In her free time, Katelyn enjoys archery, traveling, spending time with family, and gaming. Katelyn resides in Suwanee with her husband, Matthew, and their dog, Itsy.
I believe the mission of GCO, to make Georgia the national leader in creating opportunities for a quality education, stable employment, and healthy family life, allows individuals to create a better life for themselves when obstacles are removed from these areas.
