As Executive Vice President at the Georgia Center for Opportunity, Jim is responsible for managing GCO’s strategy and day-to-day operations. He is known as an innovator and is often called on for his expertise in strategy, fundraising, product development, and communications.
Jim has held leadership roles in several non-profits and has worked for over three decades with faith-based organizations and educational institutions in the areas of strategy and fund raising.
Jim’s earlier career in the financial services technology industry started with eight years of corporate experience before he moved on to found and run several successful fintech firms.
Jim has been married to his best friend Tammy for thirty one years. Together they have four sons, two dogs, a mortgage and all that goes with it.
Before blogging was cool Jim blogged for several years at onecatholicdad.com on mercy and being an authentic Catholic dad. Realizing the Catholic Dad Blog space had become overcrowded in 2022, Jim asked for mercy and ‘sat down to listen’.
