Joyce Mayberry

As Vice President of Family at the Georgia Center for Opportunity, Joyce Mayberry harnesses her vast experience in information technology and program management to develop impactful partnerships and enhance awareness of GCO’s empowering resources. Previously, Joyce refined her expertise in technical support and operations across various IT roles, including trainer, PC repair tech, and helpdesk manager. Transitioning to community service, she excelled as a program director for a relationship education initiative, where she developed key skills in event planning, community outreach, and collaboration. Holding a bachelor’s and master’s degree in human services and certification as a Family Life Educator (CFLE), Joyce is deeply committed to her role of promoting healthy relationships and supporting family well-being. Married in 2019 and a step-grandmother to five, Joyce embodies the family-first values she champions professionally.
