Buzz Brockway

Buzz Brockway, a seasoned public policy strategist and education reform advocate, currently serves as the Vice President of Public Policy at GCO. With a distinguished eight-year tenure in the Georgia House of Representatives, Buzz has been at the forefront of key legislative efforts, including initiatives to combat human trafficking, enhance election integrity, protect student data privacy, and support charter schools. 

Before stepping into the public policy arena, Buzz worked in the private sector, spending over twenty years in the plastics manufacturing industry. This experience, combined with his time managing a small business, gave him a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the business and entrepreneurial landscapes.

Beyond his professional and legislative accomplishments, Buzz is deeply committed to his family and community. Buzz and his wife, Christa, have three daughters. They are active in their local church, and Buzz contributes to educational advancement as a Commissioner on the State Charter School Commission of Georgia.

Buzz’s contributions to Georgia public policy and community leadership have made him a valued voice in discussions on policy and governance, particularly as an advocate for reforms that expand quality education options for all kids.
