Kevin J. Loechl has practiced law since 1994. After beginning his practice in the banking & corporate finance practice group of Baker & McKenzie’s Chicago office, Kevin joined what is now Bird Loechl McCants & Holliday in Atlanta in 1997 and continues his law practice there. Kevin serves as the Firm’s Managing Partner as well as the head of the Firm’s corporate & securities and employment law practices. In this role, Kevin advises businesses, non-profit organizations, families, executives and entrepreneurs with respect to corporate and organizational structure, financing, governance, complex commercial agreements, mergers and acquisitions, and employment and compensation matters.
Kevin and his wife, Becky, have been married 28 years and have four adult children. They are active members of East Cobb Presbyterian Church, where both have taught Bible studies and Sunday school. Kevin is an ordained elder in the Presbyterian Church of America.
Kevin’s community activities include serving on the managing board and as a founder of JH Outback Atlanta, a ministry focused on parents, teens and married couples, and having previously served on the Board of Directors of Georgia Center for Opportunity.
Kevin is a native of Chicago. He holds a B.A. in Political Science from Calvin University, where he was the recipient of the DeKruyger-Monsman Prize in Political Science, and a J.D. from the Law School of the University of Chicago.
