Randall W. Hatcher
CEO of MAU Workforce Solutions
Since graduating from the University of Georgia in 1978, Randy has worked for MAU, Inc. a family-owned business founded by his late father, William G. Hatcher, Sr. When Randy joined the company, it had just seven full-time employees (including him, his brother, and father) and twenty-five temporary employees working at customer locations in Augusta, Georgia. Today, MAU’s reach extends internationally, and it is one of the largest independently owned firms in North America, providing Staffing, Recruiting, Outsourcing, and Technology Services.
Randy has learned many lessons on his life journey. He has come to believe that successful companies will survive and flourish through developing strategic partnerships that allow them time and free up resources necessary to reinvent themselves lest they be commoditized. Randy has written a book on this lesson called, The Birth of a New Workforce. Most important to him is the value of operating a business under Godly principles.
Randy is the Chairman of the Augusta Tech Foundation and serves on the Board of Directors of the Georgia Department of Economic Development, and the Alliance for Ft. Gordon. A past member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO), Randy currently belongs to the World Presidents’ Organization (WPO) and the Chief Executives’ Organization (CEO).
His passions include influencing behavior to encourage positive outcomes. In the business world, this idea has manifested itself in two primary ways: through his pioneering roles in staffing, outsourcing, and technology services, and his many interactions with business leaders, whether one-on-one or in group settings. On a personal level, he enjoys teaching and stretching the minds of others to more deeply consider the tenets of the Christian faith.
Randy is married to the former Marilee Harrover, and they have three children, six grandsons and two granddaughters.
