Kelly McGonigal

Kelly McGonigal serves as the Institutional Giving Consultant for the Georgia Center for Opportunity (GCO). In her role, she partners with the Development Team to drive strategic philanthropic support that advances GCO’s mission. She also leads grant proposal efforts.

Previously, Kelly spent 10 years on GCO’s development staff, where she oversaw institutional fundraising and played a central role in growing the organization’s financial resources. In total, Kelly has over 15 years of development experience, helping mission-driven nonprofits secure tens of millions of dollars in funding.

Kelly earned a degree in religious studies from the University of Virginia. She lives in Georgia with her husband, Shane, and their four sons, and she is actively involved in her local church.

GCO’s mission inspires Kelly because she recognizes the opportunities she has been given and believes deeply in extending those same pathways to others. She is passionate about advancing solutions that empower individuals and families to move toward lasting financial independence and prosperity.
