Carolina Pachon
Carolina Pachon is the Program Manager for BETTER WORK Gwinnett at the Georgia Center for Opportunity (GCO). In her role, she brings her experience in client-centered services to support individuals in achieving long-term workforce success.
After joining GCO in 2023 as a Program Specialist, Carolina advanced into her current role, guided by a passion for helping people gain the tools and connections needed for stable and meaningful careers.
With more than 15 years of experience in the medical field, Carolina worked closely with individuals affected by work-related injuries, deepening her understanding of how employment barriers affect not only individuals but also their families and the broader community.
Carolina holds a bachelor’s degree in government and international relations from the Universidad Externado de Colombia and a certificate in Spanish-English medical interpretation from the University of Georgia.
She is deeply committed to helping under-served communities and has a long history of volunteering through her local church, where she supports guest services and leads women’s and marriage small groups.
Married to her best friend for 25 years, Carolina and her husband have three children, two cats, and a shared dream of visiting every country in the world.
