
David Allman
Owner & Chairman of Regent Partners
David Allman is Owner & Chairman of Regent Partners, a real estate investment and development company based in Atlanta, which has developed or acquired more than $3 billion in real estate assets, including The Sovereign in Buckhead and the Concourse Complex. He graduated from Dartmouth College in 1976 Magna Cum Laude with Distinction in Economics.
Mr. Allman is active in numerous real estate, civic, and ministry initiatives. He currently serves as Trustee for The Lovett School. He also serves on the Boards of the Georgia Public Policy Foundation (GPPF) and the Metro Atlanta Chamber (MAC).
As Founding Chairman of Opportunity International Nicaragua, he has spearheaded efforts to establish new models for holistic alleviation of poverty, including groundbreaking efforts to connect smallholder famers to the global supply chain.
David also serves as Founding Chairman of the Atlanta Affordable Housing Fund, a multi-million dollar fund providing low-cost debt to support transformative AH opportunities. This fund is the predecessor to two new funds, totaling $200 million, now housed at the Community Foundation of Greater Atlanta (CFGA).
In 2023, David was awarded ULI Atlanta’s Industry Impact Award, given to an individual in the field of real estate development who has made an outstanding contribution in their lifetime to the metropolitan Atlanta region.
In the past, Mr. Allman served as Founding Chairman of the Buckhead Community Improvement District (BCID) as a Trustee and Former Chairman of the Georgia World Congress Center Authority, Trustee for the J. Bulow Campbell Foundation, and national Trustee for the Urban Land Institute (ULI). He was also the Founding Chairman of the Eleazar Wheelock Society at Dartmouth College.
He has been married for 45 years to his wife, Donna, and has four adult children and thirteen grandchildren. He and Donna are native Atlantans.
